GREEK FOOD in Metro Detroit |

Metro Detroit has some great spots for Greek food. With many Greek restaurants and coney islands, there are an endless amount of options for great Greek food. I head off to three different locations for some tasty Greek cuisine including in Greektown in Detroit. As a bonus, I also get some baklava from a very popular pastry shop in Greektown.

1. KouZina Greek Street Food – Located in Royal Oak, Michigan, KouZina is famous for their tasty gyros. I stop in to enjoy a delicious gyro along with some homemade pita chips with hummus.

2. Big Tommy’s Parthenon – Located in Novi, Michigan, Big Tommy’s offers a lot of great Greek classics without having to drive all the way into Greektown. I head inside to enjoy some chicken souvlaki or mini-chicken kebabs along with some rice.

3. Pegasus Taverna – No Greek restaurant tour is complete without visiting a restaurant in Greektown located within Downtown Detroit. I stop in at Pegasus Taverna to enjoy a trio of great Greek classics: spanakopita, pastitsio, and moussaka.

4. Astoria Pastry Shop – Located across the street from Pegasus Taverna in Greektown is the Astoria Pastry Shop. It is a very popular place for delicious pastries. To stay true to the video, I head inside to enjoy some amazing baklava.
